What are Clay Conversations?

Clay Conversations are provided by Clay Conversations Practitioners, indoors or outdoors, where two or more people come together for focused work with clay whilst sharing thoughts and feelings.

Who are Clay Conversations for?

Children, young people, families, and community groups may all find Clay Conversation meetings useful, fun, enlightening, stimulating and educational, whilst also being relaxing and calming.

What is the purpose of Clay Conversations?

The purpose of Clay Conversations is to offer help and support encouraging people to feel more empowered to become independent thinkers in their daily living and thus improve levels of well-being.

Who offers Clay Conversations?

Clay Conversations Meetings are provided by Clay Conversations Practitioners who have successfully completed the Practitioner Award in Clay Conversations.
 
This evolving, professional programme of study integrates clay work, clay play and clay modelling with active listening skills, simultaneously converging with existential, humanitarian and/or spiritual concepts.

Clay Conversations - Ethos

To promote Clay Conversations Meetings as a valuable contribution to the growing movement across the world offering help and support in aspects of well-being, through clay work, clay play and clay modelling activities that are enhanced by integrative active listening skills.
 
This will happen by inspiring, upskilling and equipping professionals to work more confidently with clay as Practitioners in Clay Conversations as a means to helping and supporting well-being.

Learn with Lynne who has a lifetime of experience immersed in clay work, clay play and clay modelling. Lynne’s lineage includes some five generations of artisan potters from Leeds, UK. It could be said, that clay is in her bloodline – in her DNA!
 
Described as a ‘warm, humorous, highly qualified teacher and international trainer, her experience will equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to provide Clay Conversations in whichever setting you choose’.
